Know Live Vegetable Plants & Its Management
There are different options to select from when you grow vegetables. Which one you choose depends on personal preference and what works best in the sunny spot you have chosen. If you live in a condo or apartment, you'll probably need to grow your vegetables in containers. You'll usually want at least a square foot of high-quality potting soil per plant, so make sure that your container is big enough so that your plants can reach their full potential.
People with good soil in their yards might dig into the
ground and live vegetable plants there. But what if your soil quality isn't excellent? In
that case, a raised bed is often a good solution. You can buy them ready-made
or build your own if you're handy. Since this is your first garden, you'll want
to stick to an area no larger than 4 feet by 6 feet, or you'll end up
overwhelmed. People want you to be successful with your first garden, not
frustrated!
You can start with seeds or with live herb plants. Seeds are cheaper than starter plants but are harder to grow if you're a beginner. So go with planters from your local nursery this time, and learn to grow from seed after you've mastered. Vegetable garden plants work wonders in adding taste to food and providing fresh nutrients to you and your family.
